Friday Show & Tell…
Over lunch this Friday, Tommy showed us slides from his study of post-war architecture in Oxford Colleges, including buildings by: Gillespie Kidd & Coia, Howell Killick Partridge & Amis, Powell & Moya, Ahrends Burton & Koralek, Maguire & Murray, Phillip Dowson, James Stirling, and Arne Jacobsen.
Clare talks with Robert Elms on BBC London Radio about being an architect in the capital, how the city is developing, and who it serves.
A birthday limerick, celebrating our 20 years in practice:
Wright and Wright went to Oxford one day,
all enrobed in high-vis finer-ay.
Works on site were observed,
then a banquet was served;
and of course they partied the Wright way.
(…As for how they got home – who can say?)
Wright & Wright was established in 1994
